What Breast Lift offers
Breast augmentation, otherwise known as mastoplasty, is an aesthetic operation aimed at reshaping the breast, giving it a youthful and firm appearance. This surgery reverses the negative effects of aging, pregnancy, breastfeeding and heavy weight loss.
Surgery and Rehabilitation
The operation is performed under general anesthesia and lasts 2-3 hours. Depending on the degree of fall of the breast, the incisions are hidden around the nipple and a vertical incision may be needed from the nipple to the submandibular groove. In several cases the nipple is repositioned to form a symmetrical, harmonious and youthful breast. Postoperatively patients wear a special bra for a period of one month. As in any surgery, swelling (swelling) and bruising are normal, but they soon subside.
Return to daily activities begins the next day of surgery while full participation in them takes place after 1-2 weeks. At first, patients feel numbness, but it subsides after the edema has subsided. Mild pain is treated with simple painkillers.
The only factors that can affect the newly formed breast are pregnancy, major weight changes and natural aging.
Does mastoplasty offer permanent and long-term results youthful appearance of the breasts and recovery of lost volume and shape.
Additional options
Patients who want a larger breast size than they have can have combination surgery at the same time as the breast augmentation. In this case there are two options, either placement of a silicone implant, or increasing the volume of the breast with their own fat (autologous fat tissue transfusion – fat transfer) after liposuction. Whatever the patient chooses from the two aforementioned combination surgeries, they are performed at the same time as mastoplasty, ie in an operating room.
